The motorcycle manufacturer has added this lightweight bike to their lineup, which will provide maximum power to the rider.

KTM has built some of the best motorcycles in the world, however, they have no intention to stop the momentum any time soon.

One indication of this is the new 2023 KTM SX range of motocross bikes, which are now sleeker, slimmer, and ready to provide complete control on the field.

For 2023, KTM’s two-stroke SX range still includes the KTM 125 SX and the KTM 250 SX. The duo is now joined by a new Open Class entry — the KTM 300 SX.

KTM targets the 300 SX towards racers seeking maximum power with the least possible weight. Combining massive power and with the engine weighing just 52.6 lbs, the 300X sets a new benchmark in terms of power to weight ratio.

The 2023 KTM 300 SX presents itself as a new choice of firepower in the MX Open category. KTM designed this new SX bike to offer more torque than any previous two-stroke engine motorcycle, but without losing its high revving, two-stroke character.

The 2023 KTM SX stable now comes with electric start, which the rider can easily toggle on the newly designed combined Start/Stop switch on the handlebar.

Arguably some of the best two-stroke motocross bikes, SX models feature several technological advancements. For the first time, the full-sized KTM SX range gets electronic fuel injection across the range. This is thanks to a 39-mm Keihin throttle body, a specifically tuned Vitesco ECU and newly designed injectors.

The design of the reed valve case received a design update, now featuring plastic flaps on the outside to better seal the entire intake tract.

Electronic fuel injection also led to the introduction of an electric power valve, which eliminates incorrect power valve adjustments. The electronic fuel injection and electric power valve allowed KTM to introduce different engine maps, easily toggled via the handlebar switchgear. The SX range features a new 1.9-gallon polythene fuel tank with a threaded filler cap and an integrated fuel pump.

KTM has updated the SX frame with new shock mounts for improved anti-squat behavior. The subframe is also now a two-piece polyamide reinforced aluminum unit. KTM likewise implemented multiple updates to support the rider triangle for better knee contact while adding contact surfaces on the bodywork.

The SX range features a flat seat profile and a newly designed front fender with mud fins. KTM also updated the suspension with 48-mm front fork and new rear shocks.
