Wesdome Gold Mines has had over 30 years of continuous gold mining operations in Canada. The Company is 100% Canadian focused with a pipeline of projects in various stages of development. The Company’s strategy is to build Canada’s next intermediate gold producer, producing 200,000+ ounces from two mines in Ontario and Quebec. The Eagle River Complex in Wawa, Ontario is currently producing gold the Eagle River Underground Mine. Wesdome is actively exploring its brownfields asset, the Kiena Complex in Val d’Or, Quebec. The Kiena Complex is a fully permitted former mine with a 930-metre shaft and 2,000 tonne-per-day mill. The Company trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol “WDO”.

SUMMARY Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Superintendent, the Senior Foreman - Electrical & Instrumentation is responsible for the design, integration, commissioning, and maintenance of Wesdome Eagle River’s Mine & Mill electrical & instrumentation, PLC/SCADA/DCS systems, industrial control networks (IP-Based Wired & Wireless), & Operational Technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES PERFORMED Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate electrical/instrumentation controls maintenance activities at the mine and mill. Maintenance, configuration, & setup of virtual and hardware servers and industrial databases (i.e., SQL). Continuous improvement and reliability assistance for both mine and mill. Identify and implement technologies to increase operational efficiencies and productivity for both mine and mill (i.e., RFID Tracking, Automine etc.). Identify and project management of instrumentation, and electrical control system improvement projects. Build and maintain comprehensive technical standards for instrumentation, electrical & industrial controls and implement industrial best practices for both mine and mill. Mentor, train, supervise Instrumentation and Electrical personnel in the field of electrical, instrumentation and controls. Ensure compliance to codes and standards for electrical & Arc Flash/Shock hazard safety, confined space entry, work at height, Lock-out-tag-out, Line Break Permit, hazardous materials, hand tool safe use, etc. Implementation of OT/IT systems using industry best practices. Ensuring that OT technology & IT projects are delivered using appropriate project management processes & rigor. Ensure proper operation of mechanical and hydraulic systems in collaboration with E&I systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Electrical Engineering Technologist and Instrumentation Technician Diploma. Red Seal Industrial Electrician & Instrumentation Technician Certified. OACETT Electrical Technologist specializing in mine and milling operational technologies (OT). Ignition 8.1 SCADA certified with experience. 15-20 years’ experience in Mine and Milling Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical and Control systems design, Industrial IoT Networking, System Integration & Commissioning, PLC/SCADA/DCS programming (i.e., OPC Servers – Kepware & Matricon, RSView, Factory Talk, Control Logix (Allen Bradley), DeltaV, Ignition/SEEQ, OSI PI). Construction project management experience & knowledge. DeltaV – Implementation 1 and 2 certified. Industrial networking certified WAN/LAN/VLAN Cat5e/6 & fiber networking design and configuration experience (ie. Ethernet IP, DeviceNet, Modbus, Profibus, RIO, DH+ etc.). AC/DC motors and drive knowledge, configuration, and setup. AutoCAD (Electrical & Instrumentation) drawing, engineering, and documentation deliverables. Ontario Electrical Code and M421 Electrical implementation and knowledge. Interpersonal and relationship building abilities with the ability to work independently and in a team environment with people internal and external to the organization.

WORK SCHEDULE Dayshift, 12-hour shifts 14 days on / 14 days off Location: Eagle River Complex – North of Wawa, Ontario Meals and accommodations are provided while on shift at Eagle Mine
